The Marketing and Brand Champion role is an opportunity to become a part of a very unique company and culture. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative guerrilla marketing campaigns, creative social and digital marketing initiatives and consistently promoting the brand through multiple public relations channels. Each day you will prioritize different projects that will require strong attention to detail, ingenuity and the ability to multitask based on quickly changing business requirements and deadlines.
Write press releases and pitch story ideas to media and independent content creators
Develop lasting relationships with media contacts and digital media outlets
Create, manage, execute and track social media content and marketing campaigns that increase overall social media engagement
Ongoing oversight/ownership of reviews on Yelp, Google Places and TripAdvisor
Create and manage guerilla marketing and promotional events
Ensure the proper use of all brand assets and resources
Provide creative direction and management of for campaigns, materials and merchandise
Analyze and provide reports on results for key initiatives
Create and manage a company wide editorial calendar
Administer website development and content. Wordpress knowledge essential
Maintain the company library of promotional and event materials
Assist with marketing requests for sister companies including Baked by Amy’s and Amy’s EDU
Manage vendor/partner relationships and co-promotion opportunities
Any additional tasks assigned by the leadership team
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role involving responsibilities as detailed above
Strong writing and public speaking skills
Excellent Interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficiency with the following tools:
Apple Productivity Suite (Pages & Keynote) or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator)
Google Apps (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides)
