We are hosting The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on Tuesday 10/24/17 at Amy's and Phil's on Burnet Road! Support their cause by mentioning them when you order. If enough people do, we'll share a portion of the day's sales with them!

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. AFSP is hosting its annual Out of The Darkness Walk on October 28th, 2017. The purpose of this walk is to spread awareness and honor those who have lost loved ones to suicide or survivors of their own struggle. All are welcome to participate in the walk.

ACTS of Love supports teen-parents by providing free childcare and parenting resources. It is their dream to see all teen-parents complete high school and for their children to receive the early education needed for Kindergarten and beyond.

Trick Olympics 2017 is Almost Here!

Come out this Tuesday, August 15th at 7pm for exciting, free family fun! Our South Park Meadows location (9600 S IH 35 Frontage Rd) is hosting our 13th annual Trick Olympics and we want you to join us! 

Amy's Scoops from all across Texas will compete for first place in three different events:

Team Trick - Two or more scoops bring you a spectacular show of skill as they feed off the vibes of one another. 

Solo Trick - One man show! It is important to have charisma, talent, and sass when it comes to pulling off your own tricks with all eyes on you! 

Decathlon - This event requires immense talent as both a show man and a trickster. The most talented of scoops compete against one another in a trick by trick race. The winner who completes all of the tricks the fastest will take the prize. 

This guaranteed to be a record setting year, with brand new talent from across Texas as well as old favorites like returning champion Sebastian Whitney of 183. Come out and see special guest DJ Big Face, enjoy some ice cream, and participate in our raffle for your chance to win a giant basket of gift certificates to local businesses all over town! Proceeds will go to CASA of Travis County, a nonprofit who gives children a voice in the courtroom against abuse and neglect. Justice for our Neighbors Austin is a non-profit law office, welcoming refugees and immigrants into our communities by providing free or low-cost, high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy for Central Texas. In the last year, Justice for our Neighbors provided 12 Know Your Rights Information Sessions and over 80 individual immigration legal consultations. We have also represented 110 refugees and immigrant clients in 140 cases!

Join Us in Remembering Evan

Today at our Austinville 78750 location we are celebrating the life of Evan Nasky, a past Amy's employee who tragically passed away 5 years ago this day. As part of the 2017 International Kindness Project, Evan's parents have asked we randomly give out 50 free ice creams in his memory.

The Kindness Project began in 1996 as a way for families to honor their deceased child and to help themselves heal. Now, years later, almost two million random acts of kindness have been performed around the world in memory of a child, parent, friend, or spouse who died before their time.

14th Annual Phil Clay Blood Drive

The Hurricane Swim Team is a family-friendly summer swim team in northwest Austin. As a member of the Northwest Swim Circuit, their mission is to provide a structured recreational activity where your child can learn the value of competition, sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual achievement, as well as make new friends while getting a great workout! Their season runs from early May through mid-July.
